We require an experienced Forklift/Machine Operator/Seed Processor in Ashburton for an immediate start.
Successful candidates will have the ability to lift up to 40 kgs, have their OSH Forklift Certificate with 12 months relevant experience. You will be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test with no convictions.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Sorts, stacks, and transports seeds
- Operates controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to stack and unstack sacks into containers
- Monitors machinery visually through gauges and instruments
- Inspects and controls seeds flow to remove impurities and ensure peck production is maintained
- Manually lifts sacks
- Performs minor repairs and adjustments to forklifts and machinery
- Complies to all Health and Safety Practices
