Our Selwyn based client is in growth mode with multiple exciting local and international projects on the go! Therefore our client are seeking experienced TIG/MIG/Flux Core Welders to assist in the production of locomotives.
About the RolesWorking as part of a dedicated skilled team for our client we need the following skilled tradespeople to weld and fabricate chassis. Contribute your skills to a busy and polished production line in their Engineering department.
Welders will assemble pieces of metal after reviewing blueprints, cutting the metal into the appropriate shape and smoothing molten metal to remove creases.
About YouYou're a hardworking, reliable and motivated team player who gets along easily with others. You can read and follow Technical Drawings, use a range of machinery and hand tools as relevant to your role, and use your knowledge and experience to solve problems and find solutions.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in MIG/TIG/Flux Welding
- Welding Certifications
- Experience in locomotive production a bonus!
- Physically fit and strong
