Our Canterbury based client has a large portfolio of exciting local and international orders and is in need of experienced Chassis/Final Finish/Fabricators to assist in top quality locomotive production.
About the RolesThis role includes being responsible for re-fitting chassis accessories such as heaters, power steering, air systems and more. A deep understanding of mechanical concepts and processes is crucial for this role. .
About YouYou're a hardworking, reliable and motivated team player who gets along easily with others. You can read and follow Technical Drawings, use a range of machinery and hand tools as relevant to your role, and use your knowledge and experience to solve problems and find solutions. You have a very good eye for detail and lean towards being a perfectionist in the final finish.
- Previous experience with R systems and hydraulics
- Mechanical workshop experience would be highly beneficial.
- Physically fit and strong
